One of Xiaomi's hyped and most selling series is called Redmi Note Series. After a lot of hype on the 4th of this month, 3 phones were announced in India at once. The phones are Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. But two of these three have been announced globally. Where Indian Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is globally known as Redmi Note 10 Pro. With MediaTek chipset, two more phones have been announced globally, one of which is a 5G
The look of all the Note 10 series phones is exactly the same. The front of the phone has a center punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Moreover, there is a light chin area below. The rear camera module is the Peel Side-pad which is similar to other phones of Xiaomi this year and is located on the left side of the phone. But a closer look reveals a difference between the two. The camera module of the Redmi Note 10 Pro has a silver ring around the main camera sensor while the color of this ring is completely different from the Redmi Note 10. A glass back is given on the back of the Redmi Note 10 but the high-end variant Redmi Note 10 Pro has been given a glass back.
If the question is where did the biggest upgrade in this series come from? The answer will be the display section of this series. Last time, despite the extreme hype of 120Hz, Xiaomi skipped it. This time, not only 120Hz but also the Super AMOLED made by Samsung. The display is also HDR10 supported and capable of up to 1200 nits of brightness. The Vanilla variant offered Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection, but the Pro variant has Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Like the Redmi K40 series, Super AMOLED is used here but the In-Display Finger Print sensor is not provided but the Side Mounted Finger Print sensor is provided. Due to the difference in display size, the height of the two phones is different because the display size of the Redmi Note 10 is 6.43-inch and that of the Redmi Note 10 Pro is 6.67-inch.
Chipset
The Pro variant is given Snapdragon 732G and the vanilla variant is given Snapdragon 678. The two processors are not really new, it has already been used in Snapdragon 732G POCO X3. Both are octa-core but one is 8nm the other is 11nm. The Snapdragon 732G is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 730G. This is because the speed of the big two cores was increased by 100Mhz and the GPU performance (Adreno 618) was increased by 15%. On the other hand, the condition of the Snapdragon 678 is also the same. The speed of the Cortex A76 core of the 2016 processor Snapdragon 675 has been increased to 200Mhz. Of course, these phones use LPDD4X RAM and the storage type is UFS2.2. Available with Vanilla variant 4 / 6GB RAM and Pro variant 6 / 8GB RAM. Both the phones have 64GB to 128GB storage options.
